Kesar Peda

Preparation Time: 15 minutes.

Cook Time: 10 minutes.

Makes 16 Kesar Pedas



  • Ghee: 1 tbsp of desi Ghee.

  • Saffron: 1/4 tsp of LN Gold Saffron to enhance the aroma of peda.

  • Milk: 1/4 cup + 2 tsp milk to infuse Saffron strands.

  • Milk Powder: 1/2 cup of Milk powder.

  • Sugar: 1/2 cup of Powdered sugar.

  • Cardamom: 1/4 tsp of cardamom/elaichi powder.


  1. To make kesar peda infuse LN Gold Saffron in milk and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

  2. Heat a wide and thick bottom pan. Add ghee, and milk and mix well.

  3. Add sugar and mix well until it dissolves completely. Then add milk powder and mix well without any lumps.

  4. Keep stirring on low flame until combines well. Add cardamom powder and mix well.

  5. Add the saffron milk and keep stirring on a low flame until it thickens.

  6. Once it starts to separate from the pan. Switch off the flame.

  7. Transfer the dough to a plate and allow it to cool for a few minutes.

  8. Grease your hands with ghee and take a small portion of the dough when it is warm enough to touch and roll them and give them a good shape.

  9. Finally, garnish pedas with LN Gold Saffron strands and enjoy!
