Kesar Kulfi

  • Milk: 1.5 litres + 2 tbsp ( Full cream)

  • Fresh cream (optional): 1/4 cup cream

  • Saffron: 50mg of LN Gold Saffron. Add Saffron to enhance the aromatic flavour of Kulfi.

  • Sugar: 1/4 cup of sugar(adjust to your sweetness)

  • Dryfruits: 1/4 cup of mixed chopped dry fruits

  • Cardamom Powder: 1/2 tsp of powder.


  1. Firstly, add 50mg of LN Gold Saffron in 2 tbsp of milk. Keep it aside.

  2. In a thick-bottomed pan take 1.5 - 2 litres of full cream milk and get to a boil.

  3. Once the milk comes to a boil, add cream and give a good stir. Simmer for 30 minutes and keep stirring in between.

  4. Add sugar and simmer for 5 minutes or till the milk thickens completely.

  5. Add chopped dry fruits, saffron milk and cardamom powder and give a good mix.

  6. Allow the milk to thicken and then cool it completely.

  7. Once the milk is cooled completely, transfer them to kulfi moulds or to a Glass Jar.

  8. Cover the Jar or kulfi mould with aluminium foil.

  9. To unmould the kulfi, allow the kulfi moulds to remain outside the refrigerator for 5 minutes and then unmould by inserting a wooden skewer, stick or fork, in the centre and pulling it out.

  10. Garnish with long Saffron strands of LN Gold.
    Serve immediately.
